Now that the girls are getting bigger and the shots are much harder, she needed something with thicker padding and finger protection. Most gloves fittings those requirements are very expensive (i.e. $60+) considering that they will only fit her for maybe one season before she outgrows them.Select has a strong reputation with senior level keepers, so someone suggested seeing what they have. When I found these for only $30 AND with competition level specs, I was doubtful they could actually live up to their description. But since they are from a known GK equipment maker, I took a chance. They would be awesome for a $60 glove, but they are AMAZING for a $30 glove. Just the weight difference when you take them out of the package immediately tells you they are the real deal. Once she tried them at practice she was sold! The padding is much better and the natural latex is WAY tackier than the Adidas... Read more |
