OceanLED A12 Amphibian Surface Mount Underwater Light - Ocean Blue Reviews
| By This review is from: Ocean LED OCE-001-500285 Amphibian A6 Surface Mount Underwater Light (Blue) (Electronics) I had 4 of these lights installed on my boat by the dealer in 2008. When I first got the lights they worked great. After just 66 hours of use over the last three years all four of the lights failed due to water intrusion and my boat is kept out of the water on a lift. I called Oceanled asking them to replace the lights. They refused given that it was outside of their 2 year warranty period. My advice, don't buy these lights. They aren't made very well and as a result they don't last. The company doesn't stand behind their product and they don't treat their customers very well. These light are very easy to install. They look awesome at night. The only things I have to say negative things i have to say which arent a big deal is 1. the wiring that it comes with is to short and 2. at night fishing it spooks the bait fish which I did'nt have the lights on for long so not sure if the bait fish will come back.. |
