The Mizuno MX 500 driver features a large 460cc head that features a perimeter weight slot which distributes weight back and around the perimeter of the head for maximum forgiveness, particularly on off-center hits. Six different CORTECH face areas generate high initial ball velocity for increased distance. Additionally, a graphite toe insert redistributes weight low and towards the heel which aids in squaring the face at impact.
