Breathable GOre-TEx in modestly hot summer weather. The steel cap in front is practical. Great shin- protection. Wear long Motocross socks to prevent top edges chaffing. Nice shank enables standing on foot pegs off-road. Great Kevlar inserts for medial/lateral ankle bone protection. Good ankle stability, whilst enabling ankle flexion/extension. Takes about 2-3 weeks riding to break in.Cons: sole is very hard; needs more aggressive and thicker rubbery tread for better grip on pegs, and gravelly tarmac for grip when you stop. |
