(Video Game) The way I used this is to charge one remote and use the other. When one would run out, I'd start charging it and switch to the fully charged one. Sometimes I would have to remove and replace the controller several times in the cradle to get it to start charging, but within a few minutes I could always get it charging. Unfortunately, after 7 months of this, one of them stopped working. It would still charge, but the controller would not turn on even after charging was complete. I pulled out a multimeter and noticed that the battery that doesn't work only holds a charge of 1.9V instead of 3V as the one that works. What I suspect has happened is that the charger doesn't detect how much a battery is charged and charges based on time. It may have restarted a timed charge on a battery that was already fully charge (perhaps after a power outage) and damaged the battery by over charging it. I did leave the controller on the charger for days at a time, so others might not run into...
