If you don't know, it's possible to hack a smaller size card to make it appear that it's larger than it really is. So people will buy a cheap 1GB card, hack it to make it look like a 16GB card and then sell it for the going rate of a 16GB card. I can pretty much guarantee that any cheap card on eBay from China or Hong Kong will be a hacked card. The card works fine, as long as you never surpass the initial size of the card (in my example 1GB), but once you do, your data will be corrupt. The only way to truly tell is to test the card.
